There is a special kind of magic that settles over North Yorkshire as winter fades. Here at West Leas Farm, we can officially say that spring is in the air! The morning frost is being replaced by the golden glow of daffodils lining our farm lane, and the air is filled with the joyful sound of new life.
Brilliant Woodland Walks
Imagine starting your day with a brilliant woodland walk right from your doorstep, crunching through fallen leaves and breathing in the fresh, earthy scent of the forest. In the evenings, you can return to the warmth of a cosy cottage, a welcome reward after a day of exploring. For a truly luxurious autumn experience, sink into a private hot tub under a blanket of dark, starlit skies, a perfect way to relax and unwind.
If you’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to "shake off the winter blues," there is no better time to escape to the country.
New Arrivals on the Farm
For us, the true start of spring is marked by the appearance of our first lambs. As a working farm, this is our busiest and most rewarding time of year.
Guests staying in our cottages can enjoy the sight of young lambs finding their feet in the rolling green fields that surround us.
Easter is Just Around the Corner
With Easter approaching, it’s time to start planning those well-deserved family get-togethers. Our six unique barn conversions are perfectly suited for everything from romantic escapes for two to larger family groups of up to 14.
Imagine waking up on Easter morning to 180-degree views over the Nidderdale valley, followed by a local walk directly from your front door.
After a day of exploring, you can even enjoy a soak in the hot tub at The Byre cottage under our famous "dark skies".
